Brochures of Shite: Fiorino and Citivan!

My unbelievably patient Girlfriend finally displayed the first signs of umbrage when she caught me reading an '81 Lancia Gamma brochure in bed yesterday evening. It could've been worse, could've been a Hyundai Stellar or Renault Fuego.

Anyway, it put me in mind to start this thread in the hope to find who has Autoshites most shite-esque dealer tat pamphlet.

I'll start with the Gamma, although I was tempted to put the Argenta up....

If anybody has a Tatra 613/4 brochure out there you win by default.

Why have they fitted the gearknob backwards?

It could've been worse, could've been thrashing myself off over it.

EFA

Maybe if it had been the Hyundai Stellar...

I've never used ebid, are those BIN prices?, they don't seem to bad compaired to half the stuff on ebay.

I specialise in stuff that starts at 99p and only ever recieves a single bid. That's how you find the real tat.

Original Charmant brochure is the best, because it features a bloke enjoying a tab in one.

...Can we see the Argenta one?

Well, if you're absolutely sure... Here are the choicest pages.

Sadly, no pics of the plastic slidey-out sunvisors... But check out that Voxson radio!

I remember showing that brochure to my dad and trying to convince him to get an Argenta after the 132 (which was awesome) ... Unfortunately he went for a volvo :(

Jeezus!!! My eyes have gone funny

That is absolutley great, thanks very much for posting it. I would certainly agree with them that the grille is indeed a striking shade of grey! Who on earth comes up with this stuff. Brilliant!

I freakin CANNOT WAIT to get mine on the road!!! I would have had it running this week but the fuel pump seems to have carked it.

Be a good name for a grumble mag for those with Bestial leanings.

Yes, the BIN items have 'Buy' by the price, the auction ones 'Bid', but there isn't enough traffic to generate a bidding war so I just put everything on as 'Buy'. Prices have to be lower because it hasn't got Ebay's exposure, but fees are a lot lower than Ebay, (no listing fees and 3% FVF :)) so I can list brochures, etc at Autoshite-friendly prices without being out of pocket. You can use Paypal, and signing up to Ebid is quick and free. :D

Ah yeah sorry bud, didn't see your last post. Also the Nova one as I need a brochure of every car I've owned (think that leaves the Sierra, MR2, 120y, Clio, MX5 and Colt to get)

I'm in that habit, too. Got the Acclaim, 820, 9000, 156, A4 and 825 all sorted, together with every car my Dad's ever owned. Actually, probably every car my family has ever owned. No, bollocks, every car they've ever been near.

I'm ill.

Hope your floor joists are stronger than mine, the bedroom floor bows alarmingly.

Reminds me, some time I need to go up to the loft and unearth my Top Gear collection, every issue from launch in '93 to becoming bland and forgettable in '99.

Gotta be a veritable shitemine.

Top gear mag done a great feature once about buying a £100 Hillman Avenger Estate and driving it from Lands End to John O'Groats, It was a great feature, Top Gear used to be a great read many years ago before it got too glossy and commercialised.

I still have a few but i stupidly sold most of them years ago on ebay, as for my magazine collection, I have a bit metal cupboard full in the garage, as well as the top of it and 3 very large boxes under my workbench.

That was an awesome feature. It was a GL but it had the seats from a GLS, and he reckoned the tailgate was worth a ton on it's own!

I shouldn't remember shit like that.

Well, I felt in a curiously scannerly mood tonight, and my hand strayed once more into the Fiat Zone of my filing "system".

It never occurred to me that those Citivans have their engine in their ass. Theyre basically a Fiat 850 I suppose.

Look at the reckless hosepipe use on the Fiorino!!!!! Thats asking for trouble, unless they had the hose connected to a big tank of WD-40 maybe.
