I'd quite like the red estate but don't have a spare grand lying around at the moment

I'm 99% sure this is the same 125p estate that was for sale on the Classic Car website about 18 months ago. It was then in Watford & I went to see it. It's in great condition and I ALMOST bought it, but I made the Skoda Fun struggle on for another year... As a load lugger cum tower it would be great; all you'd need would be a tow hitch! I can't remember how much it was going for before but the problem with this sale is that the car is in Ireland (not a problem if you live there and want an FSO, of course!)

Hi Guys, A few people have asked me recently for updates on the epic Polonez save and not an awful lot has happened with her up until recently.

Over Christmas i popped up to see my Mates Jenny and Craig to spend some quality time up there and we thought we would get"Paula" started as she had been there for a year,we dug the wedge out and jump started her and with a bit of"start you Bastard" she sprung in to life!!

Nothing has really happened as the funds haven't been available for the restoration and i needed some new doors as the old ones were rotten inside out!

But a miricle has happened and one of the only 5 members of the FSO Polonez oners uk who is Polish worked his magic and has just had 3 doors (2 new 1 second hand) delivered to his home in Bristol,we are just sorting out a good day to collect them.

I still need another door and a good condition front bumper and we will basically be there!

Nice. You might want to edit your pal's name and address out of that last shot though...

I've just found and joined this forum as it seems to be my spiritual home!! I've just read through this whole thread and would like to add my voice to the many messages of enthusiasm and support for saving this rare beast. Makes me wish I'd kept my Caro which I ebayed a couple or so years ago and have regretted it since...am regretting it more now! The driving experience was somewhere between Lada Riva and FE Victor, both of which I confess to having owned in the past. My main interest is in Eastern Bloc vehicles, mainly the Mlada Boleslav variety (8 owned currently), but am also prone to randomly acquiring other unloved and unwanted automotive tat. So I feel right at home here!! By the way I was amazed to see myself in an earlier pic in this thread peering longingly at a Yugo Sana which happened to be parked next to a blue 125p....my anorak credentials are established :D

Welcome aboard, and yes, it looks like you are Home! :D How about an introduction thread with a pic or two of your cars? (We love pics here!)

This picture makes me happy, it's difficult to figure out who is helping who.
