Crayford only made a handful before refusing to make anymore due to the bad build quality & weak shell.

The first one delivered from the factory had bare wires twisted together under the carpet amongst other things , compared to the previous  ado 16, it needed so much strengthening they even resorted to filling the sills with concrete. As a last resort On one to add some ridigity while carrying out the conversion.

They went as far as advising bl not to fit webasto style sunroofs or even the glass popout type as it would seriously reduce torsional strength!
