I only flicked through it so can't decide wether its a joke article or not, but the Morgan Threewheeler Club magazine had an article about the new 2011 threewheeler with harley v twin and mazda (6?) gearbox.

I wonder if its true?

I'll have a poke round the tinterwebs and see what I can find.

...and if you're thinking of buying one, don't expect it to be cheap alternative - it'll be £20,000 or more.

Lovely shots of the factory there Louise, I'd buy a car built there if I had the cash :)

For those of you who want to know what it will look like:

It sounds as if it will be a Liberty Ace (a Morgan three-wheeler built under licence by Liberty) built under licence by Morgan. Simple 8)

Brilliant. How a retro car should be. Now can someone start building 2CVs again but with BMW bike engines? And maybe DSs with the PSA V6 Hdi lump.

Did mention that a 'retro' 2CV should have a BMW engine in it in the other thread - something like a 1200, however if someone did start building 2CVs again with BMW bike would you be able to afford one?

A 'Morgan pastiche', then... :? Will it be built in Malvern, or Seattle?

I like it, though - looks like bloody good fun!
