Keeping track of SORN, MOT, Ins. etc.

Up till now I have been keeping track of my MOT dates etc. on Google Calender, but some while ago I heard about MyGarage software. I managed to download, install and even register it yesterday and it looks quite good. Anyone else use/tried it?

Might even be able to do away with my separate spreadsheets for petrol. :)

What does everyone else use/recommend?

My Garage is great but my usual method is to put all the paper in an old shoebox and get reminded when I get done for my tax disc being out of date!

serious point though - for the shitter it is a nightmare keeping on top of these things!

I just get all my V5's out and SORN everything all at once online, not that hard

Everything on one insurance policy then?

Do you not bother recording fuel and/or servicing costs/mileages etc.?

I've got a ring binder with a section for each car, chuck out the old and in with the new each time certs are updated. I have the MoT dates on Outlook calendar but I do know vaguely when they are.

Searched high and low for the Violet's insurance cert recently as I was going to tax it agian but I couldn't find it anywhere and was most annoyed it wasn't in the file (I changed my mind anyway as the weather turned). My parent's are shifting furniture round to do their laminate flooring at the moment and my mum's just found it under a cupboard in their lounge  How the chuff did it get there??

Whatever you do, do NOT add up how much your old chod costs to keep going!

You'll find yourself at your local Citroen dealer signing up £199 a month for a new C1 every 3 years!
