Beige Galaxie 500 PLZ!!

Though that big blue barge is also v. cool. I'm guessing it's a Merc?

I could possibly be wrong, but do those letters above the grille spell out "Lincoln"? If so, then it's a 1978-ish Town Car, about as Frank Cannon as you can get without actually buying a Continental Mk IV! A 460 cubic inch fully-loaded barrel of 70s-tasticness. I want!

I think you're right - the front end treatment is reminiscent of earler Continentals so that's probably what it is. I can't actually picture a similar sized Merc from that era, was there a lot shared or were they quite different cars? (I'm asking you eddy as our resident Yank Shite expert)

Blue barge is a 1976 Lincoln Town car, not sure what the script is above the grille though. May have been added later?

They actually used the same shell, the differences were in the details. Think Jaguar/Daimler XJ6 of the same age; not a lot of obvious difference, was there? The Mercury in this shell would be the Marquis, which is what I initially thought I was looking at. And thanks for the "expert" tag, watch me fall flat on my face with the very next query!

I dont understand the Ford GTX1, I thought they were meant to be the convertible/spider version of the GT.

And yeah, horrible wheels.
