a few spots from the trip:

this nasty pt cruiser soft top looked just like a skip, with a ragtop

this CF bedford driver (and his canine front seat passenger) was not keen on being photographed, first he sped off, then we caught up, then he lane dodged as i got the camera out, he eventually turned off the M62 onto the leeds west ringroad

Well, it was all a bit bizarre... I was on the A1(M) southbound, right before the A1/M1 split, and in the inside lane of the M1 filter, behind a truck, toddling along, minding my own business. Matey boy from stobarts came up fast as hell on the nearside (A1 filter lane) and blasted his horn, made a universally recognised jesture for onanist through the window at us. Then he shot off up the slip road, using 2 lanes and the hard sholder while still waving his hand up and down. I have no clue what he was doing, or why, but it certainly wasn't funny.

The CF was probably spot of the day... we also saw a renault 4 on the M6 but it was going the other way so no time for a5 to grab his camera.

2 litre, but originally a 1.6GL

Same colour as my much missed 2.0GL automatic.

The seats look like they're from a newer model than the age of the car, or is it just my eyesight? Anyhow I noticed signs for God's favourite city (Chester) so you can't have been too far away.

Bit harsh to try and get the fella sacked!

I used to get the odd random complaint about my driving, the boss would just tell the person with the complaint that I'd been sacked/executed/dunked in boiling acid e.t.c and that would usually appease the annoyed motorist.

I didnt need to try, or even suggest he should be sacked, thats just the news i heard from the company after i complained

with the number of decent drivers on the dole, or working for minimum wage at the moment, some people dont deserve a job

Passed this on the motorway in Belgium. Not shite, but it's a motorway spot.
