Had another look today. The place was locked up and fenced off, but got reg number: A 113 WKU. Looked a bit sad, sat on flat tyres.

Just had a couple of days away in North Derbyshire. Not exactly awash with shite, but thought these may interest a few:

fairly solid looking Sierra

and yet, it looks to have been fitted with new number plates!

These next are not exactly spots, but not sure where else to put them. Watched "The Grumpy Guide to Driving" on iPlayer the other day, and it included quite a few clips from old TV shows, to illustrate some of the points being made. I was amazed to spot that the clips featured not one, but TWO Renault 25s!

1st, a phase one outside a Happy Eater:

and then, in a clip from "Driving School" showing the dreadful Maureen leaving a slip road, a phase 2 the same colour as mine:

It looked to have some strange badging on the boot lid, but the image isn't clear enough to make it out:

Had a trip to Scarborough last weekend, and spotted a few cars which, whilst not being shite, I thought may be worth posting.

The local Super-car club were out for an early morning run on Sunday.

There was also this nice old Bentley

 

And then there was this - just got a fleeting glimpse from a distance, so couldn't be sure what it is. My 1st thought was Jaguar, but would be happy to be corrected!

Here's a few more seen recently.

Not much of a Beetle fan, but had to admire this spotted in a pub car park.

Saw this the other day, and once again was struck by the way cars which were everywhere a few years ago have vanished from the streets without even being noticed.

And, just round the corner, I saw this. I don't think I've ever seen one before, or maybe they were just so anonymous I simply never noticed them!

Here's a few more seen recently.

REALLY poor phone pic (lens was really dusty) of E reg Fiesta. Can't really see from this, but was riding on stupidly small wheels, spaced well out of the standard arches.

This old Rover hasn't moved for a couple of years at least - now seems to be acquiring a coat of satin black. Not a good sign, I fear.

Whilst this splendidly scruffy example was seen at Barrow Round House recently......

.... as was this bus, evidently undergoing some restoration.

Doesn't seem like 5 mins since thee were everywhere. Spotted this one at Sainsbuty's, and realised it's the first one I've seen in ages!

This .... er ...... "beauty," was just a few bays away from the Citroen.

And I followed this for a few miles this morning. Nice!
