Cars on TV?

Does anyone know the address of that quite comprehensive website which lists lots of cars which have appeared on film and TV, and where you can search by car make? I've just learnt my Dad's old Renault 16 (C Reg!) appeared on episodes of The Persuaders and Mogul in the 60s and 70s. He used to loan it out when producers wanted a left hand drive foreign car!

Wow! Yes, it will be. It was a dark red 1965 16TL, one of the first in the country and he had it for about six years. I'd love to see a clip of it in the earlier series, it was called Mogul, and only ran for one year in 1965 (became the Troubleshooters after that.) In this one my mum actually drove the car and appeared in a few scenes!

Out of interest, how did the producers approach your dad? Did they go through a FredTransit type? "I don't know what a Renault 16 is but could you please find me one?!"

Wow that's super early! TL arrived in 71 I think - so this would have been a GL I guess. It would have had the lovely early dash. Mmmmm.

Unlikely - a considerable amount of The Troubleshooters was wiped by the BBC. I'm not sure what, if anything, still exists from Mogul.
