French (?) mystery car ID please

So, let's see who's really hot on biggish, obscure French/European stuff eh?

 

 

We stumbled across this wonderful yard full of stuff in Normany at the weekend. The mystery car is the dark saloon between the white and light blue DS's. My thought is Renault Fregate, but on shots I’ve got showing the back end ‘my’ car seems too square. Unfortunately, I was taking these shots over a wall and didn’t really notice this car at the time otherwise I’d have made more effort to get a better photo of it.

 

I reckon the other odd saloon is a Panhard Dyna Z, alongside the various examples of BX, DS, CX and XM, Visa, Ritmo, RHD XJ, 504 salon and coupe and other delights. There were also some older 2CV’s and a BMW ‘02, not visible here.

 

I have other photos of this place and I’ll try and post larger, zoomed-in versions of anything showing this car tonight if it’s still unsolved by then.

 

When I’ve finally got round round to editing and uploading them I’ll turn this thread into my holiday spottings receptacle. I downloaded the DSLR last night and the ones I took at the fabulous Mielenwerk in Dusseldorf have come out rather well, so there’ll be a selection of ‘proper’ classics as well as scrap and on-the-road stuff more befitting of this site.
