Llandudno transport festival

Paid a visit today. Not been before - but will definitely go again. Lots of cars and buses but I was looking for the 60's and 70's lorries. Not disappointed.

I took lots of pictures.

A blast from the past. Halton transport was based in Widnes but went bust a few years ago.

My favourite British tractor unit. The crusader.

Ford D series. Dainty compared to the others.

Jaws would approve.

Another crusader. And I managed to photograph the interior.

We were there for four hours - lots to see and plenty of stalls selling autojumble tools and vintage toys.

Looking at old lorries you soon realise how big modern ones have become.

It’s a great festival, and the kids loved the extravaganza in town too!
