Gorgeous car. I prefer black plates on any car they came on originally but white/yellow suits this well, reckon the orange paintwork looks good with this combo.

Sure it's a mis read? Based entirely on guesswork, I'd say the period '95 to '01 is the awkward bit between graduation and marrying MRS_POG(why do I feel I need pass parameters here?)

When the car was new (and I was about 12) I would have been horrified to see it on black plates, but they were still a legal option, and basic issue; you had to specify the white/yellow set. All these years on, as I said before, I treat them as a badge of honour on old cars.

 

However! Trigger, it's your car, you do what you like, don't mind us! The ONLY opinion that matters is your own. Whichever set you want it to wear is fine.
