Picked this up, a 1966/67 Automobile Year book and a 1979 edition of the Observe series.

 

The Automobile year book is awesome, I guess some of you may have one of these already but if you haven't, see if you can hunt one down.

 

Pics speak for themselves really but it's full of great ads, new cars and reviews of motorsport events...fan-bloody-tastic.

Love that 66/7 book! The second half of the sixties is my favourite period, not in the least because of the introduction of the Japanese brands over here...

Did the Observers book have a few ticks or car numbers scrawled in it? The 1980 copy I had as a child certainly did.Good score on the Automobile Year book - hopefully picking it up there avoided the mark-up they sometimes attract when they get into the hands of booksellers and 'jumblers?

Ihave a secret desire to find a sales brochure for every car that I have ever owned. Starting with a 1939 Ford Prefect. That will be a mission !

I have that Observers book. For some reason they seem to have whited out all the year letters on the number plates.
