calebaaront Posted Tuesday at 09:54 Author Posted Tuesday at 09:54 Looks we’re off the road for a moment! The carb has decided to spring a leak, it seems to be coming out the this bit, looks like I’m going to have to find a new diaphragm for it but not sure where to get one. Any suggestions? It squirts out whenever the throttle is applied N Dentressangle 1

I bought a rebuilt one off him the best part of 15 years ago and it's still working perfectly, he sells parts as well. https://rage-keveronderdelen.nl/product-categorie/carburateurs/ calebaaront, Joey spud, Scruffy Bodger and 1 other 3 1

N Dentressangle Posted yesterday at 06:41 Posted yesterday at 06:41 Yeah, that'll be the diaphragm in the accelerator pump. You can probably still find the diaphragm for sale on its own if you're saving the pennies, or this kit's a bit cheaper and looks like it will fit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/1527124024 Increasing amounts of ethanol in modern fuel won't be helping. dozeydustman Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago @calebaaront I run mine on Super. It’s much happier, pulls better and best of all no pinking - even when timed up right it pinks in E10. Averages 36mph on my way to work on super, and 28 on E10. And needs the choke out for less time. Matty and calebaaront 2

When I filled up the other day, I put E5 from Texaco in the tank, I think what’s caused the diaphragm to fail is that the car was sat for awhile
calebaaront Posted 23 minutes ago Author Posted 23 minutes ago Just purchased a carb kit! Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to arrive
