Nuts in May - on Tuesday Night

Was on one of the Sky Channels - I was too pissed to remember which one. Anyone see it?

 

I hadn't seen this early Mike Leigh for about 20 years but still pissed myself laughing at it - Roger Sloman is wonderful as Keith and I like to think that he would be the most pedantic of autoshitters were he a real character.

 

Best of all it is set in 1976 so tin abounds - Keith and the eye wateringly annoying Candice Marie (Alison Steadman) even have a Morris Minor Convertible.

I saw Nuts in May about 15 years ago, I think on a Vic and Bob comedy themed evening on BBC2.

 

Never knew the female character was Alison Steadman. Did a job she was acting in a few weeks ago and gave her and the script writer a lift home in the Sierra after a works curry night. Oh the glamour!

Yes ive seen this , the bloke is really annoying but as said tat abound , campsite used is still a campsite , somewhere near Corfe Castle IIRC
