Hi Pete!!

Yep seen all these listed, the 2.2 is a few minutes away, but does need a bit of work and no MOT,the one next door to you i saw on a back of a transporter in New Haw,looked very clean to be honest, the tensioner one didn,t sound to bad,but no spare key,no history and needing a top end rebuild...cheers for looking

Theres a blue phase 2 on E-bay with gold wheels/grille(yuk)but looks clean and tidy but high miles.

I'm not really looking to sell, but you could make me an offer for my 96 2.5dt with 53k on it. I'd be looking towards 1.5k.

he wants a petrol.

He likes petrol stations then....

No problem.

I've put 10k on it in just over 2 years including trips to Munich and Berlin, so I don't really use it enough. It's bigger than I need but I really like it.

I probably should sell it but don't really want to.....

Funnily enough I was originally looking for a 2.5 petrol but when I found they only came with autoboxes I went off the idea, had a quick look on ebay/autotrader and there it was with only 43k on it... and an autobox...

I liked my old 2.5 20v Exec. I'd possibly buy another.

the driver of one of those was responsible for the crappiest piece of driving I ever saw (years ago when they were new)

I was on a busy French motorway in the fast lane with only 20ft or so gap in front of me. If you left any gap then some b'stard would push in so it was quite hairy. Doing 70mph plus

the Safrane behind overtook me using the bit of dirt between the fast lane and the crash barrier at 80mph plus and then squashed into the 20ft gap in front

He now had a about 18 inches gap at each end at 70mph

The only reason he got throught the gap was because I was driving a right hand drive car and so by staying a bit to the right of the lane I could see down the gap upto eight or ten cars ahead if brake lights came on thus giving me extra reaction time so I could keep that gap small

That's a shame. It looked so good that I was tempted to bid on it myself, even thogh I have no use for it.......... But i didn't!

There are a couple on autotrader that look decent.

This one is around the corner from where I am currently working. Price looks a trifle on the high side given the 190,000 miles.

Dealer probably picked it up @ the auction for £200... :?
