Anyone here live in, or near Barnsley ?

I've got a bit of a Favour to ask of anyone here who lives in, or close to Barnsley, S. Yorks.

 

I've been looking for, and saving for a 2 door Viva HB for ages now, and i've managed to find one in Barnsley that looks like it might fit the bill, problem is, I live in Surrey, and don't currently have a car, and Railtrack want £70 + for a return ticket, which is a lot of dosh for me as i'm not working at the mo', and a lot to dish out if it turns out to be a Shed.

 

So, I was wondering if there was anyone close who might be able to have a quick look for me, and let me know if it's a dog or not, before I make any offers, obviously, i'd have to arrange it first.

It looks great in the pics, but even the seller has said they make it look better than it actually is, although it sounds like he might be being picky.

 

Any help would be most appreciated, or if anyone knows the particular car, even better.

Im 20mins up the road in Wakefield. I could do a reccy for you, although I will say that I don't viva's so I'd just photograph everything and post them on here for us all to have a poke at.

Same deal though, I don't really know what I'm looking for so could probably tell you if it's roughly the right shape, and then photograph everything.

If it's taxed and tested you can stick it at my mum and dad's (Barnsley about 20 seconds off junction 37 of M1) until you want to collect it.

 

There's some bays outside so it's not parked with passing traffic - saying that there's maybe 4 cars pass a day, lol.

 

And my dad would probably wash and clean it for you as he can't help himself.

Well, what can I say guys ?, only on Autoshite do I get offers of help to not only View, but a list of what to check for , a place to park it whilst i'm fannying around getting sorted, But I even get it valeted !.

 

What more could I ask for, unless of course someone wants to deliver it for Nowt

 

But really people, I have to say that the offers have knocked me back a bit, I thought I was being really cheeky asking if someone would look for me, but this is fantastic.

I'd just like to add, that I also live near Barnsley, but I have no parking, can't be arsed to wash it, couldn't tell a good Viva from a bad one either...............but I answered!
