retrogeezer Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 The bluey has just sailed through it's MOT needing a tweak on the mixture and a ziptie on a steering rack boot. (done FOC by the garage) I've had it since October, it's never let me down and other than a service all it has needed is a CV boot.......shite motoring at it's best. Here's to another 13 months of happy shiteing and thanks again to Monsieur Bolleaux for the 2nd uber reliable & cheap car. I'm so glad you found it hard to shift last year! Oh, and the MOT guy nicknamed it 'Gupta'!
Lukas Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I´m not surprised, that´s an 80s-OJC (absolutely reliable, bulletproof, comfortable, troublefree) at it´s best! Oh how impressed would you be if you´d own a Camry SV21!
GJR 11L Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Well done on the test pass. Damn! Those really are handsome old tools when you see them tidily presented like that. Must try to find me a nice automatic one for under my usual, £100 "unnecessary but what the hey, I want one anyway" car purchasing budget.
