Matty Posted January 19, 2025 Posted January 19, 2025 Didn't know about this. I take it it's a regular thing is it on more than once a year?
Mally Posted January 19, 2025 Posted January 19, 2025 I go quite often, but it's cold in there. Free parking all around up to noon. Best to be there at 8am for the bargains. Not very big but many stalls. I'll look for a date list. Matty 1
Mally Posted January 19, 2025 Posted January 19, 2025 https://phoenixfairs.jimdofree.com/ He used to run Newark A J, but sold it a few years ago. Edit, I see there's a link in the first post. Sorry. Matty 1
morrisoxide Posted January 20, 2025 Author Posted January 20, 2025 I used to go quite regularly but the stalls had the same stock and the price went up. Like @Mally says it's bloody cold inside and you need to be there early as some stalls are packing up my 11am! Matty 1
comfortablynumb Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 Had a huge row with the organisers when they ran Newark, bunch of @#34z! Also Newark is now a very expensive boot sale, with pitches you can barely get a large car on. Hope they're better than they were then. ( I doubt it) sheffcortinacentre 1

( I doubt it) Nice bloke to talk to Jeff, but there's a lot of pressure running a big event. Did you argue with him personally, or Security? Agree about Newark pricing. Rufforth is good. https://www.rufforthautojumble.com/ morrisoxide 1
sheffcortinacentre Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 Stickney near Boston is abought best one round here free entry, stalls under a tenner ( unlimited space) very friendly, last Sunday of month, carboot every sat. Post COVID others are a joke especially Newark current organisers are running it into ground. Rufforth is same re tiny pitches. comfortablynumb and morrisoxide 2
