Is that little pedal next to the clutch to open the bonnet? I think the SD1's had that. I'd get that sorted first, it looks super!

I would guess that foot pedal to be a washer pump for the 'screen, my Mk1 escort had the same set-up.

That said, my old land-rover had a little switch like that to flick between dipped & high beam...

yes they are windscreen washers (although missing the actual washers)

the blue and red hanging wires are for the seat electrics

Get a year's ticket on that, I'll swap you for the Scorpio Cosworth.

These cars are flipping ace, man.

A scrufty old one is a work of art.

Does this one have a crummy old V4 in it?? That would make that ridiculously long bonnet even more spurious, and ergo more "shite" points to be had.

i prefer the current 3 litre essex and bullet box powertrain

than a cossie 2.9 cologne and slush box

I always think of Human Traffic when I see an aircraft carrier....

apparantly a v10 or v12 will drop straight in, when spare wheel and rad relocated

i think the bonnet is almost 5 feet long

I broke the last scorpio cosworth I got my hands on within 24 hours of borrowing it

edited for truth....

can we paint the zeph up like a battleship then? or maybe an aircraft carrier, complete with model planes glued to the bonnet....

Not usually an old Ford fan but the mk4s look great.

Fine example you have there.

Perhaps combine the two, and lets put the engine off mine into your shell, with the full black leather interior too......might be nice!! But then again.

unfortunately i tried a pair of scorpio front seats in it, and they are not big enough

and i would miss the rumble and thump through the twin side pipes

what a little stunner....

You're from Texas, aren't you? These things are a splendid old tool, comfy, famous for being Oz's car in the 1st episode of the 1st series of "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" and more desirable than an 09 plate Maybach, but little? They're the length of a cricket pitch and then there's the bit behind the landing strip.....

'kin love the things! 8)
