sierraman Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 Don’t you just love these ads where they’re not to sure what the problem is but it’s really minor and they definitely* haven’t been told to get rid of it sharp by the garage. Take this pearl… bogging down all the time and it’s definitely* not the fuel pump… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305526270508?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Nb8zUQyqSiq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=0gRg2HOGS5y&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

sutty2006 Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 Probably a shitty aftermarket fuel filter fitted.
RoverFolkUs Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 Who's paying £700 for a MK1 Focus with a borked 1.8 TDDI ? 🤣 Shame they didn't put all that effort into a 2.0 petrol, might actually be a decent car then I don't know what people see in the Endura-D hornet's nest, noisy, slow, shit. Not shite. sierraman 1

Not shite. The 2.0 is a lovely engine. We have a MK1 2.0 Ghia auto estate. Bought in 2021 with 42 odd thousand on clock. Now has around 75k and it's a decent motor. Not the most economical being an auto but a very competent cruiser and very comfortable. I have had a couple of escort vans with the 1.8 endura NA diesel and both weren't the best. Slow and noisy and not too economical. One of which was well known on here after a crash up north. RoverFolkUs 1
