Scruffy Minx could have come straight from the mid 70's... why don't makers of 'period' programmes use cars like this?

I had a nice wander around my first ever autojumble there today.... the actual stands were a bit hit and miss, quite a lot of sunday-markeyery going off, but the cars themselves were a lovely blend of classis, modern classis, and utter shite. At one point I waited for a mint RS1800 to pass through shot so I could get a picture of a Marina. Nowhere else is that acceptable than Autoshite :)Camera is still in the car, photos tomorrow!

Went to it last year - a lot of motorcyle stuff, and like you said the stalls are a bit and miss - last time there was a guy trying to sell a invacar for £3k, the main car park can have some interesting spots too.

One thing I find anoying is people packing up early... I don't know if there's is an 'offical' finish time now (used to be 4.00 IIRC) but it seems that people pack up earlier every time... like 1.30, while there are still loads of punters about.Oh, and I bought a thermostat, a wire cup brush for the grinder, 2 plastic badge fitting inserts (15p!) 2 old copies of 'The Automobile' magazine and a Villiers 2-stroke engine off a rotorvator or somesuch for a tenner for a 'silly' project I've got in mind...

OMG SPACEVAN

Not seen a non-camperised one of those on the road since about 1992.

I love those Kitten vans with the round lights, they look seriously weedy. Did you get a shot of the brown Kitten too?

Galaxie is mega cool. Though it does look like he's painted the wheels in situ, hubs, bolts, studs and all. I suspect that '60s Nascar ones had plated nuts etc.Metro says "Retro Rulz" Right.
