bangernomics Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 This one? It looks flipping great https://retrospecparts.com/cars-for-sale/1966-citroen-ak350/Yep thats the lad. The seller has yet to respond, 80km away or so, 2.5hrs when you drive there and probably 4 on the way back right.
bangernomics Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 Spent an hour polishing the Berlingo and today it has left the building for good. They left their old megane thingy with us to use until the volvo is ready on the 15th. Why is it when you spend ages getting something right and shiny you then think why am I getting rid this is actually a good car. Oh well onto the next. yes oui si, Dave_Q, mk2_craig and 5 others 8

bangernomics Posted Tuesday at 15:57 Author Posted Tuesday at 15:57 Yes everything looks small compared to new equivalents. I remember my grandfather had an austin 1300gt which was considered to be a family car, aunties had hb/c vivas again family cars, cortinas etc. they are dwarfed by equivalents now. Wibble 1
bangernomics Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Mrs B’s new car was collected yesterday. Very nice, comfortable, fast and comedically economical after its first home charge. My hunt for a berlingo replacement keeps coming back to errrr berlingos but hey why make it easy.Ultimately I will get an e-montego at some point it is inevitable. That said for the now I need a towbar equipped shitheap to get the crap jobs done. ‘Thankfully’ I collected some sand and lime in the old one so I have stuff to be on with but will need the crap wagon soon enough.I have tried buying old AK 350s 400’s, ex laposte kangaroos, everything is either there are some scam merchant or a pile of old shit.So maybe I have to help my budget a little.Bear in mind I’m also going to be bringing 2CV over finally but not sure where that fits in the fleet long-term other than as an indulgence life is a living et cetera YOLO.
