I did used to do cars sometimes on weekends for a few people for a bit of pocket money too though!

When I was a mechanic someone actually booked a Contour in for some work. At the time I had no idea wtf a Contour was so imagine my surprise when a weird looking left hand drive Mondeo showed up! 
I always wondered why on earth someone would import one of these, considering a Mondeo in right hand drive was easy to get here already. Strange.

Drove one of these across Canada in 1996. Picked it up at Edmonton Airport.  Through rockies to Vancouver/ Vancover island and Seattle.

An auto 4 pot shows it's limits climbing some of those gradients.
