A friend of mine had one for several years. Then he fancied a change and went through a few big Farinas, a P5 (not a P5B, the original straight six) and an SD1. The 3-Litre was the best of the lot. Not the fastest or quietest and it's one of those cars that looks better from behind but the ride was superb. And it had a red interior which swung it for me. Also the motoring press weren't keen on it. Folk that own them & have driven them however say they're great so that's good enough for me. I like them & imo in the metal they look way better than in photos'. Yoss 1

Indeed, I think the press of the time decided they didn't like it before they'd even got in one. If you look at more recent reviews they are always quite positive. Hubnut did one a little while back and seemed very keen. ETCHY 1
