Now I seem to have got my mojo back with the Sceptre (and since no one bought it!) I treated myself to this off the 'bay. Seller was a top bloke, he included a later 'Mopar' Chrysler accessories brochure (which I will scan in due course) with it as he 'thought I might be interested...'

 

 

I now have a strange desire to track down a tin of Rootes branded de-icer...

I think I would have splashed out on the chrome boot strips and mudflaps had I been purchasing an Imp back then. And I'd have had a pale blue one . Caribbean Blue it was called. Lovely!!

i think my dad still has a rootes toolkit, gearlock is interesting, but it didnt seem to catch-on in UK

I am loving some of those tartan seat covers. Rootes had it covered didnt they? "We can spec your car to giffer spec now so you dont need to do so in twenty years!"

Ive got a few of these bits , the Imp gearlever lock , the spare wheel cover , engine lid rubbing strips , door sill embelisher and the vanity mirror , want the roof rack , never seen one like that
