Transportation Ideas Please, Anyone ?

HiA bit off topic I know, but I was wondering if anyone might have some ideas as to how I could, as cheaply as possible, transport a vehicle from Yorkshire to Surrey ?.I've had to give up on ever getting the MK2 Cortina GT that would be my hearts desire, as i've got more chance of pumping the pope at today's prices, and iv'e just found a vehicle, namely a '69 Viva HB SL, at a price even I can afford, that should be just as much fun, but the killer will be the transport costs, as it's not a runner. So if anyone has any brilliant suggestions I would be eternally grateful.

Will it A frame? We have to go to Sheffield next week, and the LWB has a tow bar.

Hi FredMany Thanks for the offer, to be honest, i've not actually bought it yet as it comes down to whether I can afford to get it back here and I don't know if it would A frame, i'll have to get in touch with the bloke and find out, I do know that it's been sat a long while.I did look at the idea of hiring a trailer for a couple of days which seems fairly cheap, but i'll PM you and let you know what he says.TimI have signed up with Shiply to get some quotes, so i'll have to see if they are any good, but many thanks for the advice. Is it MOT'd and roadworthy? ER, in a word NO

If it's in Sheffield I could stick it on set for you! Sounds perfect for 1986.....
