Saw this yesterday and it's in lovely condition...

... although the badge-engineering is somewhat...erm... ambitious

A V6, 24 valve turbo diesel Maestro. Whatever next? Ah well, at least some people can have a laugh. That V6 badging, or at least the 6, looks like it came off a modern Merc. Wonder what the story is?

Good little ruse methinks, i reckon it's someone who's embarrassed about only having a 4-pot Perkins Prima under the bonnet The 24v badge looks like it was borrowed from a Mondeo/Scorpio.The lack of towbar is a nice feature too I'll be looking out for this on Ebay if the owner decides to sell...

Think it needs the extra power of a V6 due to the aerodynamics being ruined by the additional mirror stuck on top of the door mirror
