Anyone got any old chrome backed spotlights for sale? Nothing too big and DEFO nothing too expensive please. Yellow (or other coloured) lens ones ideal. Single or a few wanted and must be working, would prefer old ones rather than blinging angel eyes/halo/truck type ones.Checking some on eBay but would rather throw some cash at someone on here.

I've got a couple of Hella ones I bought from Wat. recently. If you've got a pair of mint 70's Ford Halogen ones, I'll swap**you don't like Fords, so it'd be a good thing for you to do ;)

I do like some Fords you know! Unfortunately I haven't got any to swap though sorry, do you have a picture of the ones you have and how much would you like for them please?

I've got a pair. I can't think of anything to put them on so no point sitting on a shelf. I think they could either be old shop stock or and old type still in production somewhere. They're really nice actually. I'll bosh some pics up but it'll be at the weekend as they're in my dad's garage.

Thanks, look forward to seeing pictures.

There's an easy way of doing this, either get Golf/Mini headlights, and then go to Ikea and buy a pair of chromed metal 'food' bowls, and then stick them on the back. It's a cheap alternative that people use when they're building Caterham 7 kit cars. ;) It works!

I'm sure I have some pukka Hella ones, circa 1973, in the shed. I took them off my Beetle before the big crushy machine came for it.Not too sure on condition, I'll have a look tomorrow. If they're still there, you can have 'em.

Mash, how big are they please? they look just the job!Pillock: cheers, keep me posted please, thanks.

I had a look in the shed, and my mum binned them.To be fair, she binned them 7 years ago and I've only just noticed, so I can't be too annoyed. Sorry though Cavette, the search goes on!

Ah, yes I should have put the sizes up!

Diameter is 6 inches and they're about 3 inches front to back overall including the bulb cover.

Originally I was going to put them on my Triumph 1300 but it's not so easy to put circular ones on because of the way the bonnet hinges forward and down. To be honest I don't know that I need any on it anyway. I do like these Lucas Square 8 ones though which would suit it well:
