Shite in the park

Our monthly car meets are back on at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum on the last Sunday of every month.

A thoroughly enjoyable day out although pehaps a little bit too much shiny shite this month!

 

 

Quite an eclectic mix! I had quite a busy morning as the winner of the Maestro picked it up before the meet and had two other people borrow cars as there own cars were currently off the road. The Impreza and Mx5 were loaned out and we also brought the pony and bmw compact.

I know the odd person from here attends so please stick your photos up on this thread.

I took very few pictures as I spent most of it talking to people and then had to head off at the back of 1 to go and see my Dad. For some reason I turn into someone sociable for the couple of hours that I am there!

The picture of my Cavalier there isn't mine as I forgot to take one. A guy 2 cars down from me took it and then sent me it when I said I had forgotten about my own car!

Was that 3.2Ltr Cavalier the genuine article - never seen one before.

GSi should be 4 stud though. I wondered if it was turbot with a GSi bumper.

It was originally a 2.0 GLS that's been fitted with a 3.2 Omega MV6 engine, turned 90 degrees for the fwd Cavvy. All home made but nicely done. There's actually quite a bit of room around the engine in the bay.

The next Shite in the park is happening a week on Sunday on the 25th June at the Scottish vintage bus museum, Lathalmond starting at 11am.

We're also doing a weekly retro car meet over the summer every Friday night in Kinross.
