The DB5 I found parked near a chippy.

So best place to start is the beginning, me and a few mates were enjoying some cheesy chips, i then saw what appeared to be a DB5. I was extatic, only one of us interested in cars. And to my surprise I saw the bloke park it on a kerb.

There's a DB5 that gets driven from Portugal, or at least did so, for servicing at a garage near Cromer. By the time it gets back it can't have many miles left before it has to go back for another.

So just down the road. I vaguely remember being told his UK base was near Gunton, pretty convenient for the Gunton Arms.

When we still lived in Loggerheads N Shropshire I was shopping in the local Co Op when a Ferrari 250 Gto California pulled up.Yes,the Ferris Bueller Ferrari.

Guy jumps out and nips in for some milk whilst I'm just staring.

I can't remember where or when I read it but I did read a story from a guy who moved abroad in 1975 , his dad had a DB5 when they weren't as fashionable as they are now , I think he said they sold it to a dealer for £5000

Daytonas were about that then.

I went to a garage that had 3 of them for sale at that price and you probably could have got a multi buy discount as they were desperate to sell them.

There was a scruffy one for sale at a petrol station in the North of Cardiff back in about 1982 for a couple of thousand. They also had a Lamborghini Espada and a Mach 1 Mustang.
