Righto. Can we have some semblance of a plot this time? RegardswatanabeRover 600 owner.

It's the last series, so they don't have to try . Friday night is where dramas go to die..... All the same, me LWB and scrapper are in this one.

Could have picked something nicer to be in the publicity stills......

Bumflaps.Working til 8.30pm and then home - BUT I wont be able to catch up on Autos hite owing to wanting to watch A2A. Whilst i can access Austo Hite at work, most of the pages are blocked due to "Profanity Violation".... :? On the plus side its been 13 hours at time and two thirds plus a day off in lieu.

Can you get BBC iplayer online? A2A will be on there later tonight, tomorrow at the latest.

That's something else to actively avoid on the TV then.

I suspect he refers to the time-travelling 620 in the last series.

Ah right, the bastard that turned up and dumped the thing!

Ahhh, thought he'd "treated himself" to a replacement for the Ci****n. :D

Is it obvious I didn't watch Ashes to Ashes?

Hi yeah, it ran out of fuel.
Posted

I've only been watching it 10 mins on the sky plus and already seen a modern Royal Mail Iveco van and they said said the Transit van was a D reg, in 1983? (unless it's a Mk1 I guess).

Posted

i heard the reference to D reg too :? nice to see they blew the cobwebs out the van mind

Posted

I saw the Iveco too, nothing to do with me. Missed the bit about the reg, could it have been V reg? That's my girl! The amby was on the 'cutting room floor' though. Was outside the hospital......

Posted

Did I see a red early/mid 90s Iveco early on??

Hehe, yeah I clocked that too. Doesn't look like they're bothering with any sort of plot this series. Harmless fun I guess but like the previous outings i can't help but feel it's a wasted opportunity to make a really good period cop show.

Looks like I had best get that sweeney style project off the ground then......

Shall watch tomorrow. Won't expect too much...

Soooo glad they didn't want to film the 'it was found torched' scene. Did ya like me scrapper? :lol:Also, what was the white thing the policewoman was sat in? I couldn't place it, and it looked too new for 1983......

Posted

Wasn´t the Volvo (why does a hipster computer guy drive an antique dealer´s car by the way) a too late example as well?

Posted

i was sure it was a uno, but dont hold me to that looked single wiper-ishmost action that scrapper has 'scene' for afew years eh, tis now famous for being ultra-shite :D :D

Posted

Not a lot left of the scrapper, ironically it was the same age as the 'kidnapper's van'. I am thinking of putting the axles back on though, as it seems there might be a market for period set dressing scrappers......

Posted

restore it :P tis famous after all
