Just scanned this off from a 1988 issue of CAR, I think we should be allowed to do this with scappage cars, Maybe U-Pull-It should start doing £35 days!.

Mind you, I can't see heath and safety being to happy about it!.

Goldies' Grabathon ® (T)

Another installment of the scrapyard

action show, in which team captains

musician "Goldie", that Marina bird

from Goldies' Boutique, and 1980's

Blue Peter dog Goldie lead teams of

beardy british leyland enthusiasts in

a treasure hunt around a scrapyard,

searching for elusive pieces of BL tat.

Which team will be first to rebuild an

Austin 3-litre? And which will fall onto

some spikey metal, with hilarious

consequences.

the hoods that do the drive-by shootings must do a roaring trade with that guy, buy shite, shoot somebody and burn the car :)

Car Transplants (scrappy) near Nantwich did one of those 'all you can carry' things a few years back, think it was £25.00. It wasn't everything in the yard but there was a bloody good choice. I set the record for wheels carried but it nearly broke my back getting the fuckers through the office area. Made a mint out of it though so happy days.

Cant see Car Transplants doing anything like that nowadays. Miserable bastards.

Not been in yonks but they used to pretty much advertise for staff every single week in one local paper.

That Buddy Dogs article is absolutely splendid. I'm going to print it out and put it on my wall.
