ashmicro Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Couldn't he afford a red Daewoo?LOL! A mate of mine is a crazy Man U fan and waited nearly 5 months to get his new car in the correct shade of red .
vicsmith Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Is that a saloon?? I thought the Espero only ever came as a 5-door?This changes EVERYTHING. I may just have to hunt one down... Other way round. It only ever came as a 4-door. Been running one recently in the same colour as that, superb car, you wouldn`t regret it if you got one. 6 rear indicator bulbs in total, ditto brake lights, how many cars can boast that?
boobydoo Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 A friend of mine who ran a budget car rental company in the late 90s had a couple of Esperos on the fleet that replaced a couple of knackered Fiat Cromas. These were her "prestige" cars at £27 a day If you couldnt stretch to that , for £17 a day you had the choice of Fiat Panda or Lancia Y10. Y10 Selecta(?) no extra charge!!£20 a day...Fiat Uno or Lancia Delta. Gradually replaced by Daewoo Nexias.Rock bottom prices...utter shite cars.
Mr Lobster Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 A friend of mine who ran a budget car rental company in the late 90s had a couple of Esperos on the fleet that replaced a couple of knackered Fiat Cromas. Rock bottom prices...utter shite cars. I worked somewhere similar in about 1992/3. The stuff I remember from there was -'A' Renault 18 TS, lacquer peeling off front wings'H' Transit SWB, 120k miles'F' Trafic. BatteredAssorted Metros and Escorts, all of which had seen far better days. The 'pride' of the fleet though was a brand new FSO Caro. Horrible.
Pillock Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 The Maxi Maxi made me giggle like a girl, the BEEEEEEF Polo is just weird.
