I’m intrigued now how you knew that. Is it the style of the houses? Or am I missing something obvious 😆

It's a combination of the housing style (1930-s era terraced/semis) on hilly streets - Paignton/Torquay seems to have a huge amount of them whereas Newton Abott doesn't (nor Brixham) so I think it was the railway/seaside combination back in the day? 
Some images have a background that strongly suggests an area (anything Scottish for example just looks, well, Scottish to me)

That was her preferred method Torbay > London back in the heady days when we first got entangled, she knows that line well (I think it was maybe cheaper than GWR too).
