grizz Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 @93fxdl Glenn Do you ever do airbrush work? Especially fading around pinstripes and such.
grizz Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Amazing what a difference a day makes. A wash and some polish later. Today some rain beads. Pity about it all. Loving it. . lesapandre and Schaefft 2

MrBig Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Hey @grizz have you considered wrapping? Seems like the car is a solid enough base, no specialist gear needed, just some skill and patience (we know you have enough of those from your previous projects) and some time. All sorts of crazy stuff available without the need for a spray gun and a paint booth. As an example... Gloss Metallic Candy Green Vinyl Wrap with ADT - WrapDirect.com grizz 1

To me, this car is in part a learning school. Techniques otherx just talk about. I would like to try, and master. Literally just went to my garage to see if I still had something I thought I had. Bingo !!! And it works. MrBig and 93fxdl 2
93fxdl Posted January 8 Posted January 8 The saving grace with painting is, you can just rub it back and do again if it goes wrong, but a downside with starting out is, you will look back at your earlier attempts, and see every flaw. I haven't done much painting, but if I look at previous things, I can see all sorts of errors, just learn from it and do it better next time Ttfn glenn grizz 1
