A Toyota Yaris Verso and it had me thinking that it's what to be a future autoshite ride, The one i saw had a old grannie driving it and a wheel lift in the back.

It looks like a squashed, stretched version of my shitty little van. Which tbh would be a much more useful machine. If they got off their arses and made these in RHD and sold them here at the same price as EU, they would piss all over Kia, Hyundai etc. Sadly they would also piss over their "premier" stuff like base-spec clio's & micras so that will never happen. I would be slapping my bucks on the table for one FO SHO.

I saw one of these in Plockton last July, they look really good.

I love them too. A highlight of any trip to France. Don't much care for the saloon but the estate really works. It's longer because that's useful. It's very square at the back because that's useful. It's not fashionable. Oooh, what a win wagon!

Exactly. One of those would be perfect for me, work, family etc. No frills, what you need without unnecessary frivolities.
