yep leaving this humble home for another... moving 7 hours south to the mountains, (well going t the interviw on the 19th to be shown around etc but as we are the first he's organised we are sure to have the job, involves looking after a 12th century chateau, tower and we get a 4 bed house, rent free, last couple were there 12 years :D )

good luck hope you get the job.i know you will be better off as i do a similar job with a tied cottage and its a good way to live for nowt only a tent would work out cheeper :wink: leaves more to spent on sh1te afterall theres no point being the richest man in the graveyard :shock:

blimey mine in the uk was £75pw on a crappy 10x15ft bedsit :(here its €400 for a moderate 2 bed house with a small barn (but we have no neighbours which is nice) excluding the bills of cause

nope a bungalow on its own in an acre off orchard goes with the job and we even get free hot water and heating so our only bills are phone and electric, well i suppose i should have to pay something :shock:

Lucky chap!! There always seems to be a Tagora or two advertised in Carcassonne on Leboncoin. Looks like a brilliant way of life - how do you come by such opportunities?

errr mine errrwell janien's will be cleaning duties, looking after the pool, guests, bedding everything with running the house but not cooking..mines to cut the grass :lol: its 2 days a week with an optional paid 3rd daywill find out the finer details on the 19th

That sounds grand, good luck! Good region to pick up rustfree tat as well perhaps, plane to the south, crash in a real chateau then pick up car and drive home... :wink:

my misses doesnt have to help out here as they have a housekeeper who also gets a free house, i work 5 days a week all off which are paid off course :wink: i too got the job through some posh mag think it was called the country lady or something like that.i forsee a sales increase for the posher mags comeing :wink:

we struggled with 2 kids up 800 metre mountain to see ruined chateau so without them should be dead easy :lol:

nice one..ill strike u off the NZ queue then shall i...and if i come visit this year one wont be slumming it will one old chap...obey that lawn order..dont just mow round the wreck collection..
