keef Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Anyone local enough to pop along and have a look for me please? http://carandclassic.co.uk/car/C130821/ No response to my email so far so can't be more specific with location, unless anyone else knows of the vehicle?
keef Posted January 8, 2010 Author Posted January 8, 2010 Have you rung the feller up?No, All I can find is a premium rate number. Probably cost more than he's asking for the car to ring that.
keef Posted January 8, 2010 Author Posted January 8, 2010 Just left a message on his phone. Why do people advertise on line then not respond to emails?
TimL Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 I know somebody that might be able to look at the car for you, do you know where the car is located?
Mr_Bo11ox Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Those premium rate numbers are a bit of a rip, but thats how car and classic must make their coin I supppose. You can always ring it and ask the fella what his proper number is, then call him back on that one.
keef Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 I know somebody that might be able to look at the car for you, do you know where the car is located? Thanks.Still not heard back from the chap. Will let you know as/when/if I do.
keef Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 thats how car and classic must make their coin I supppose.I'm sure you are right. :(Maybe they just shove false ads in so they get lot of folk ringing up?
AXrescuer Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Just left a message on his phone. Why do people advertise on line then not respond to emails?Already sold maybe?
keef Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 Already sold maybe?Could well be. :(Hope it's not destined to drive round an oval track.
Mr_Bo11ox Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 thats how car and classic must make their coin I supppose.I'm sure you are right. :(Maybe they just shove false ads in so they get lot of folk ringing up?I think if you ring those numbers, you are connected directly to the seller as if you'd rung him 'normally'. But in fact you are connected via car and classic and so it costs more. However. you only need to be connected to him for long enough to explain who you are and get his proper number, then you can just call him back on that and start pumping him for information.
