Yeah you haven't brought it yet, as you've yet to collect it. You have bought it though.Enough grammar semantics anyway... Tipos are extinct here, I like their blocky '80s styling too. Is it a non-turbo diesel? The TDs were supposed to be pretty nippy for their time.

There's a blue Tipo Sedicivalvole (had to look up the spelling) which turns up in Dewsbury sometimes. Bet it's an amazing drive.

Looks like a digidash model, from what I can make out from the photo.Could be a 1.7 or 1.9 non-turbo diesel - we only got the 1.9TD in the UK, the fastest model at launch! Presume the 1.7 is the same lump as found in the Uno and early Punto.

Is the digi dash set up in a different way to the analog dash?A 1.7D with a digi dash would make for the pinnacle of shite.

Yeah I seem to remember the digidash model was laid out in horizontal strips.... my friend at uni had one, it was a fairly mediocre model but it had the cool digital dashboard, electric stuff, and it went like absolute stink. Sure it was only a 1.4 but if driven hard it was unbeatable. well, not actually unbeatable - a well-driven Carerra RS would probably have it in the bends but when everyone else has rotbox fiestas with rattly top ends it was like a supercar.

we did get the 1.7d here aswell, usually in a basic fleet type of spec, sedici's go ok,5 doors much better than 3 doors, but a healthy dose of turbo power is not too hard to do.

I had a 1.6ie petrol Tempra (Tipo saloon in effect) on an N plate for a bit. It was a better car than I expected. Decent ride, engine ok but a bit thrashy when you floored it. I found the driving position a bit upright, but generally an ok car.

I would absolutely love a Tempra.

Lovely! The mid 80s to early 90s Fiat range really was superb, I don't think there was a single rubbish car in there. I love the family face too, everything looked very neat and smart.

yep digidash but pov spec no revcounter, but has electric (working) windows sure its 1.7, its non turbo with blue velour

To be fair to it, it never let me down. I was doing fortnightly trips from Leicester to Teesside & back & never had a problem. No rust either. Thing is, it replaced my Citroen BX so it just had a bit too much to live up to.

That temperature gauge is ace, it would be worth getting headgasket failure just to see it lit up in all its glory.

Looks proper 'shite' to me, although in too good a condition.Good work!

oh its real shite, the seats are ripped, only one wiper, clocks dont work till the car warms up, same for the electric windows, cable-tied bumper, poundland trims FTW, but starts and stops

I had an early, carbed, Delta HF Turbo many moons ago that had possibly the shitest 'digi' dash bit in history. That went into the red, it was like approaching the magic £20 mark on a fruit machine.
