Acquired these today, they were props from a furniture shop display.

Books appear to be 1963 and 1974, and there was a Motor Sporting programme from 1960 in one of them.

Nice finds! I have two of similar vintage in the loft somewhere. Page 247 shown above is where as a boy I learned that Tatra was a thing.

The Scottish Sporting Car Club still exist - I was a member a few years back and did a couple of autotests with them :)

Nice!

I had one as a boy, think the 1977 edition. It's not impossible that I still have it, somewhere buried amongst 40 years of other accumulated debris...

EDIT: This is perhaps the one place I can safely admit I still have more than a dozen packs of Top Trumps, covering cars, trucks, planes, ships...

I've got a 1959 copy at home. Of particular note, in the back is a comprehensive guide to British Isles registration area codes at the time.

I have a few '70s Observer's Automobiles. That entry for the SaaB 99 EMS was entirely responsible for my buying a 99, and for then not being happy with it (it wasn't an EMS)

I uploaded a few pictures from the 1984 one a while back.
