2 new* vehicles in a week. In the berlingo family way.

Because of the whole covid thing closing our shop and driving everything online with home delivery I'm now the proud owner of my very own blingo white van. ?. 

 

It's got the all important 2.0 hdi engine in it 

Which is barely run in 

One previous owner, Wolverhampton Council meals on wheels. Delivered this morning, It starts work tomorrow delivering food round town... Poor thing. 

Thought it needed a clutch from the pedal feel but Tom says it's shit cable routing and they're all like it. Needs a good clean, tidy and machine polish, and it really is quite impressively dented but they're all small. I drove it round the block and it went well, as I hoped a 2 litre td would. 

This weeks fleet additions. ? 

This does mean we now have too many vehicles and we have exceeded parking capacity. Ho hum.

It survived its first day at work. ?. To celebrate I cleaned the seats as they were a bit grimey.

There's a bigger difference in the flesh, and its still damp, so I'm pleased. Then the console and plastics all had a good wash and I found that the van has a split charge system. Anyone know how they work and how to test them? It will have run a chiller at a guess, that's gone but this all looks useful.

On both sides which needs sorting sooner rather than later. The stereo works but the speakers are terribly blown. It's already down to 3 hubcaps. No other problems to report.

Battery is probably ran in parallel and is charged off the main alternator.
