Cripes. Missed this thread! Hadn't realised I was so grumpy...Mind you, I have tried to post in the two jolly threads as well! I'm a Gemini, so if you believe the astro-bollocks, I'm allowed to be in two minds at once. Or is that two-faced? Meh.Thanks for the sums outlaw!

Just need page 150 to be finished, I've had a count up (yes I know I'm sad), and whilst not wishing to give anything away, after looking at the last 49 pages, I must ask....Mr Hirst, Mr Lobster and Mr Cavette....Have you considered psychological help? You seem VERY unhappy.......

Posted

But perhaps you need a rating for degree of ranting? I would normally class Hirst as a mild mannered moaning minnie, whereas Mr Watanabe....

Just out of curiousity, I thought I'd go back and check out my involvement for the last 49 pages and it's not that bad!Admittedly, I have had a go at fireworks, Halloween, Office "banter", people who phone up with quivery voices, the clocks going back, parish councils, that climate change advert, learner drivers being allowed to cause huge queues, our union (which I'm not in), university, adverts involving toilets, wastrels getting in the way, National Customer Service Week (and the zany activities therein), Payzone points (people getting in the way paying bills), people who pull out on you from side roads, shoe repairs not holding up, people who are too "into" football and Innocent smoothies. But on the other hand, there were some more cheerful things - a bit of BBC Micro nostalgia, the nice thought of having a job working at the docks, the idea of a real "Hirst Used Autos" in America and the suggestion that Mr Seth gets Mrs Seth a whisk for Christmas.I'm quite happy really - my life involves a lot of driving to miserable locations full of unlikeable people, but I get to do said driving in a Charmant which lessens the blow.

I'm quite happy as well actually. Lifes not that bad really. Yeh theres bad bits but plenty of good too so I'm a fairly happy person most of the time :D Hmmm. A job at the docks? That sounds nice. Actually, everyday I drive past the docks at Liverpool and often think that perhaps I should have 'gone to sea' rather than working in the motor trade.

Alternatively we could all get a real life and go to the pub.

As for the name change, it's usually up to The Management, and as it takes them ages to approve some people I have no idea how long it would take them to change a user name

Managment , someone in overall control , well i never :lol:

It's from being one of the first to register on Austin-Rover.co.uk, I thought I'd grab my real name while it was still available. Inertia saw to its continued use.

I'm normally Duncr on forums, but they never authorised it on here  so I had to get CortinaDave to register me and he came up with WVM as that was my main vehicle at the time...........

True - have used both on my spots threads below but not the grumpy man thread, which has grown exponentially since I last posted on it :)
