Whats the story with it??? Looks like the base model with vinyl seats??Funny, when they came out I preferred the bigger headlights with integrated indicators - now I prefer the small headlights.

just to cheer at least some people up there was a mini/ metro banger race meeting today at mildenhall suffolk 150+ metros will have been destroyed so they are going to be a little rarer now (or maybe more valuable !!)

CRUSH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WORD!I failed my first driving test in one just like that. I've driven a few more over the years since (especially a 310 van with dodgy radius arms) and found them to be charmless, badly-made rustbuckets with no redeeming features whatsoever. I know they're autoshite and everything, but I hate them. Sorry.

A friend of mine had an E-reg 310 van. The original engine died so we slotted in a 1275 unit from a perforated MG Metro. Being a bit lighter than most metros, it could beat most other cars to 60 and was infinitely more fun to drive :D (till we crashed it  ).

ooohhh but thats a lou-lou, the usual rust around the front valance seams and the placky seats (as mentioned) together with the lack of a radio-mast give it away as a poverty-specker.Where is it? I would buy it for a dollar BTW I am not far from you......I get all the luverly smells from Heinz!!

i know the seller. And if i had the money it would coming up the m6 to preston to live with me. I do love these gas sprung go karts. And poverty spec means less to go wrong. Its been saved from the scrappy twice now.

I had one A58VGT (miss you!) I drove that around the UK, Europe and Ireland, loved it, 998cc A+, great engine (infact it was fast beyond its CC's), great car, everything was just basic and good, if I saw this car again I would buy it like a shot! Simple, basic, totally functional motoring, more comfortable and refined than an R 5, felt more solid than a Starlet, faster than a Fiesta, this car was the nuts!...had to hold it in second though!
