Nice memory jog there, thanks 'Loud. Must have been watching it around that time. I do remember it as a must see programme when growing up.It is a little heart warming to see that large gov't backed projects were also failing miserably back then - so its not just a new thing. Amazing that it took four years for Unions/BR/Gov't simply to work out who would drive the Metro The Concorde bit was interesting too. Almost as if they were predicting that supersonic travel would ultimately fail due to business concerns even though the technical know how was there.
