A rare sight these days - R4 content

This happened at the end of my road this morning whilst I was out. I guess he cocked up the reversing bit of his 3 point turn.

It is about a mile away but will try to keep an eye out....

A bit of French metal gate spotting there too. Lots of little towns had their fabricator, blacksmith or ironworks in the 1900's to 1960's making local farm and garden gates and sometimes concrete gateposts too etc. All very distinctive styles and sometimes with a local makers plate - worth looking out and photographing if you like that sort of thing. Kind of thing you take for granted...until one day its replaced with something less interesting.
