Father Ted Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Friga-dig-dig much cheapness, flog the alloys and whack some scrapyard steelies on and get half your money back!
Pillock Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 The alloys actually suit it though! Even if they are multi-fit jobbies.£220 is nothing for that, looks very nice indeed.
Mr Lobster Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 The alloys do suit it, looks pretty good on them. £220 seems like a bargain for an oil burning 306 as well!
ashmicro Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 WIN! That's a good colour for that car, too. Looks like it'd polish up well.
HillmanImp Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Alloys do look okay, but no doubt look a little crappy at the back if they are just showing off a rusty brake drum. But for that money who cares.
trigger Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 That is cheap, Is it a D turbo model?, I had a L reg 1.9XLD a few years ago, It had the D Turbo front bumper on it and looked nice, Cost me £700 at the time and was fantasic on fuel, and was quite pokey even for a non turbo model, Just didn't have power steering which it needed really.I got hit up the rear in it one day at a roundabout and the insurnace company gave me £500 to repair it (It only had a tiny dent) and i then sold it a year later for £600, Right result.
scottishpaul Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 oh for a cheap car i love it screwed the pump up a bit and it goes like a rocket seems to be faster than a 206 hdi and still giving 45mpg on cooking oil i think my luck was just in when it was on ebay as alot of bids then some one pulled a bid and then a few followed so hence the cheap price
Station Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I think the original 306 trims make the car. I really like these, they are so tidy looking and haven't aged a bit.
