Cleaning brake callipers

My mum's 1999 Nissan Primera has a sticking brake calliper, I'd like to attempt to fix it for her.Is it just a case of taking it apart, cleaning the moving surfaces, whacking some copper grease on and reassembling?

Yeah, get rid of all corrosion and build up. Might be a good time to change the pads, they're only 10 quid for four.

Aye I plan to, good to know it's so easy. But I'll probably end up snapping loads of bolts anyway.

Don't get any copper grease on the sufaces of the pistons, it won't do the seals much good.

Pah! You think Primera bits are expensive?I'm looking at £97 FOR A SINGLE POT FRONT CALIPER on my Amazon. And let's not forget the discs, oh no, they're £200. EACH.Jesus, I thought my C4 parts were pricey...............

I'd use brake fluid, rather than copper grease - only using the later sparingly on the back of thepads. If they're free(ish)brake fluid will free them up & lubricate nicely-no probs with the seals either.
