Thought I'd lob this lot up while waiting for dinner to cook...

 

First is this crusty Champ that's been sat in a front garden in Morecambe for years.

 

Industrial estate tour bagged this Sierra

 

Halford's car park had this Carina...

 

...which has a slightly careless owner.

 

These next 2 lovelies were spotted outside one of Lancaster University's halls of residence

 

Slightly shabby Micra. I still can't quite bring myself to liking these as the only time I have ever been in one it almost made me crap myself when the guy driving it thought it would be amusing to take the keys out of the ignition whilst driving along.

As seen at Tatton- was thrilled to find this Suntor lives near me. Nice early CA on the drive too...and there's a hint of some bonus shite spottage hiding in the background too...

 

Oh yes...

 

And to finish, a scrapyard visit to get some more tyre valve caps revealed these few...

 

Had 'keep off' written on it, so hopefully this will see the road again

Finally been out with the camera recently, so here is a November update. First up, 3 spots from a Citroen Car Club gathering at a garage in Last of the Summer Wine country.

Minty Visa Special- nice and basic

 

And at the unit next door was this hooge Jag

 

Next up 3 local spots from yesterday in Grange over Sands and Kendal.

 

Robin estate- previously seen at the Grange classic car show- nice to see it is still out and about

 

Pug 309- looking good

 

Audi 80- haven't seen one of these in years

 

Been meaning to get a pic of this gorgeous Acty for ages- I pass it every so often on the way to work, and conveniently it lives by my local scrappie.

 

Up the road was this Saab 9000

 

And parked up in the yard was this Volvo 340GL

 

Finally, today I went on a trip up to Shap after spotting some potentially interesting rusting hulks in a field from the train last week.

 

Snapped this oil-burner Escort in Orton- used as storage it seems

 

Finally got to Shap, where it wasn't raining for a change. I was amazed with the stuff that is up there.

 

Crying out for a can of wheel silver is this nice unmolested Golf

 

Tucked away in the dry was this TR7

 

And now the abandoned ones...

I nearly wet myself when I glimpsed this lot round the back of the Co-op

 

And to finish, the contents of the field seen from the train...

 

That lot brightened up a very dull day for me!

Fantablious spots MrSteve - the garage full of tat looks like a real Aladdin's cave.I saw that Shap 'scrote on the way to our holiday spot back in August - I couldn't help wondering at the time if whoever allowed it to get in that state was starting to regret it :)The Renault 20 in the field doesn't look too bad actually (makes mental note to stop there next time we're on hols).

Nice one!Yeh the estates were called Granadas for some reason, does anyone know why? Corsa cabrios look about as stylish as their Rover 100 equivalent, like a skip with an umbrella stretched over it.
