I like those SVX's probably for the unusual factor but seem to have auto boxes made of cheese, expensive to fix as well.

The autoboxes in the SVX are fine. The problems were that early SVX's didn't have a gearbox oil cooler, so avoid an early one, unless it's had one retro-fitted. SVX's were only made as auto's as at the time Subaru didn't have a manual box that would cope with the torque.

C-reg 205 GTi, will this be the 105 or 115 bhp version? Looks sad but not beyond repair by any means - WOULD

That's the rustiest 205 I've ever seen! Early dash but on a C plate, so it's probably a 115. Seats might be later too but I'm not enough of a spotter to tell the difference. Sunroof too so no good for OMGRALLYCRASHTARMAC

Probably still would mind.

I know these are yank shit but they still look quite elegant, i would probably drive this.

Those are darn good cars though. I had one as a hire car on a 5500 mile USA trip, half of which on unpaved roads, and liked it so much, that I bought a six months old dealer demonstrator when I was back home. That was 1993. It never gave me any grief until I sold it when my world collapsed within a day in 1998.

She played Liz in Shaud of the Dead, and has also previously owned a BX GTi. If that Czech Ambassador doesn't want to be involved with us, perhaps we should ask Kate.

you mean Kate could be our Queen of Shite? Approach her poste-haste!!
